My most recent was RoadBikes.TV (4 weeks ago) but I hardly ever buy anything/backorder anything anymore.
I was thinking about the Tour De France! I'd like to trade it for a road bike.
Snapnames failed with my request today. As did Name. As did Domainmonster. I don't foresee me posting anything new here for a long time. I'm in a hold and drop mode

thesmokymountains - smoky mountains (without the "the") gets 40,500 exact match, less than 1000 with "the" but I still love it and I've always use the in front of it

For reasons that make sense to me:
Municipal.TV (via Domainmonster - think someone else had it at Name.com)
Longish term hold hopefully. Will use as a Proof of Concept for someone initially ..
Snapnames failed with my other attempt. Increasingly SNAP will not get domains that have few backorders (i.e. 1) because it's not worth the effort of them doing it and the number of registrars is huge. If you want a name I'd suggest backordering it with three ids to create a sense of competition (I'm sure it's against the rules but who will know that you, your wife and kid all want the name?)

Usually I have a list of domains I want and will get anyway but I like getting a civilian's perspective on it, this was one of them they went giddy on.

Buy American would be my first choice but it was taken and a basic site is on it. The thought with this one is, basic directory site with merchants with american made products, some will have affiliate programs, you can charge to get better placement etc. This is the type that would easily gain traction with people, even moreso nowadays.
The name says what it is and is a concept that can be bought into. It's not BuyAmerican... but it's a pretty good alternative, imho.

Caught balogna.com today! A short, one-word geo domain as well as common 'alt spelling' or mistype.
