Alan Cumming hosted yesterday’s awards ceremony that recognized groups making a positive impact on society.
Public Interest Registry, the non-profit behind .org domain names, announced the winners of this year’s .ORG Impact Awards at an awards ceremony last night.
Now in its sixth year, the awards program recognizes mission-driven individuals and organizations from around the world for their positive contributions to society.
This year’s big winner was Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization in the Philippines that provides access to education for children in remote and poverty-stricken areas by providing boats to reach their schools. Yellow Boat was awarded a $50,000 donation.

- Quality Education for All: Yellow Boat
- Environmental Stewardship: Share Our Spare
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: The Center for Courageous Kids
- Health and Healing: Kids Operating Room
- Hunger and Poverty: Solidarités International
- Rising Star: Clinton Okechukwu, The R.E.T.I.N.A Initiative
Actor Alan Cumming hosted this year’s ceremony.
