When venues re-auction names we detect that and remove the original. When venues offer to the runner-up there's no way we can know that for most venues.

I believe Namecheap re-auctions when the winner doesn't pay. I'm not 100% sure what Dynadot currently does, I know they re-auction the .ai ones, but not sure about the other inventory in their expiry auctions. I think they might offer to the runner up. Dynadot also has issues where auctions get cancelled because names get renewed, and we don't know about it unless the winner emails us (which happens, but extremely rarely).
