I think it is partly due to the fall in the price of domain in recent years, there might be less people doing this when the price was $35.00 per year.

I'd have to agree with you on that one BuLLDoG, there really are some outrages prices for domains there. Also some of the names really aren't worth what their expecting for it.

I notice that most ebay auctions with the tag "Reserve not met" tend to have more people bidding on them (even with crazy prices), perhaps people want to be part of the process.
