Typo Domain - Risky or Profitable?

Hi Domainers,

I want to know more about the typo domain. as I encountered with 1 typo domain with an excellent traffic graph. I want to know is it risky or profitable to buy a typo domain as I have never dealt with typo domains till now in domaining.

Also If it's profitable, should I reach out to the main company to buy it from me or just put a make offer landing page on aftermarket?
