GoDaddy auctions and Google’s domain parking change were top stories.

1. Another company sues GoDaddy over auction clawback – Remember that domain clawback at GoDaddy that happened two months after the winner got the domain? It turns out another auction winner had the same thing happen to them.
2. ICANN sends breach notices to family of six domain registrars – ICANN said the domain registrars, which have common ownership, failed to submit escrow deposits.
3. Google just dealt another blow to domain name parking – By opting new advertisers out of showing their ads on domain parking, competition and bid prices will decrease.
4. Cannabis company tries reverse domain name hijacking – The Canadian company tried to “drop the the” through a UDRP. It failed miserably.
5. GoDaddy announces next premium domain auction – The auction has concluded. Notably, most of the inventory was from BuyDomains, not GoDaddy’s NameFind. Future auctions will include domain investor inventory.
