He renew ( who manage .ai ) and put in expire auction 3 time 
Because who won the bid not pay last 2 times so not let drop until will not make a certain amount

This is a bummer. I may have been front run (Spaceship showed a .ai avail last night, wanted to sleep on it). Woke up, and it was taken. Sometimes Spaceship shows them as avail but the registry fails, so can't be 100% sure I was front run. And now no way to check since I can't see date taken.
