Talking domain names and ecommerce

I was recently a guest on the Ecommerce Traffic & Conversion Podcast, which is geared toward ecommerce site owners. We discussed:

I enjoy going on podcasts that aren’t about domain names to spread the word about their importance. One of the key things I always try to leave with the audience is that they shouldn’t give up on a domain just because it’s registered. Depending on the name, they might be able to acquire it for a reasonable price. The domain will pay marketing dividends for years to come.
