No and I don't intend to get on a bandwagon and waste money. Microsoft got that for Copilot brand protection. Everything else is pure speculation.
$12 is not that expensive;
possible to handreg. some & try.
At least, definitely better than $160...

Even i don't have no intention at moment i dont know where you find .si at 12$
I found only high prices
+ .si is ccTLD for Slovenia and possible to be or have a valid Europe address

Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si
SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.
Do you own any .si domains?
I'll start with the one I have;
Roboter .si
How about you?
With all due respect, I think it is quite early to immediately label this TLD from Slovenia as intended for 'super intelligence'. Is there any basis for a larger trend in that direction, or are you creating it yourself?
I say this because new domainers in particular can make investment decisions based on this type of information.

I may not be asked,
but I think there is no bigger maximization / exaggeration of the term Artificial Intelligence
than Super Intelligence.
Nothing is bigger than Super;
so, if there is a successor of AI, it is clearly (and only) SI.

Not really. Check AGI (general artificial intelligence) term.
Some fresh .si registrations (not by me): assistant ($500k on Dan), companion, invent, augmented, artificial (developed), engage, agents, university, strategy...
I regged for 12,49 $ at OVH and Regery.
Yeah that's wild on the US site they offered me $11.49 crazy difference.
I was skeptical about .SI domains, but seeing how .AI domains went from overlooked 5+ years ago to selling for five and six figures, I reconsidered. You can check the posts on Namepros to see the skeptics about .AI before the boom. Nothing is 100% certain.
Just my two cents, not hyping or advising. I picked three Word+.SI domains after seeing how their .AI domain versions sold and possible potential use. Worst case, I spent $40 on three domains plus yearly renewals. IMHO. Do your own research.

.io was the ccTLD for the British Indian Ocean Territory.
.ai was the ccTLD for Anguilla.
Now, both are used like gTLDs (.com) due to popular trends.
.si is Slovenia's ccTLD and has been around for 30 years. Over 155k .si domains are registered.
.si will be the next trend?

Exactly on point.
Couldn't say it better.

Yes, let new domainers jump on the wagon & try something out, why not...

Why not?
Maybe, SI (super intelligence) is really the most likely successor to AI...
So, why shouldn't the corresponding TLD be as much attractive as the acronym.

superintelligence is a hypothetical agent that possesses intelligence far surpassing that of the brightest and most gifted human minds
....hypothetical aaaaaa.....i will bones until a agent become super intelligent
If you are not sure, how fast Super Intelligence might be able to come,
check this YouTuber out.
I am following him since some time, and what he says is quite based & weighed up.
Not really. Check AGI (general artificial intelligence) term.
General is a level underneath super.
General is human like intelligence; Super is above that (at least, in specific fields).

Perfect. That's the nuance I actually expected in your opening post. @equity78 described that nuance quite well in his article on The Domains.
If you can afford it, there's nothing wrong with taking a chance on a certain part of your portfolio every now and then, and I sincerely hope it turns out to be a success for you. I also hope that not too many people will lose money on this forum.
In domain investing, it's mainly the success stories that come to the fore, you rarely hear about the tons of money that are lost at the same time. This of course applies to all extensions, including .com and also to the .ai extension (despite some very impressive sales we've seen as well).
All the best, Andreas.
