Couldn’t decide what the most common term might be at the time (generative AI, gen AI, GAI, etc)

I am leaning toward GAI

I think Gen AI is most common abbreviation for Generative AI, because GAI could be interpreted as General Artificial intelligence or I could be wrong.

I think it is legit to use GAI for both,
Generative AI
General AI

- however, as far as I see it, the term Generative AI is much more spread and famous than General AI

Btw, AGI is indeed a term reserved for General AI (artif. general intelligence).

to me, GenAI looks & sounds better than GAI.

But of course, some websites may also use the abbreviation, as you showed in your intital post
(gaiworld, gaiinsights .com).

I possess numerous domain names such as GenAI+Keyword.com and Keyword+GenAI.com. However, I suspect there might be an issue. According to Google Trends, "GenAI" closely corresponds to the abbreviation for "Generative AI," while "Gen" has its own abbreviation, "Generation." In my opinion, "GAI" appears to be the most suitable choice for referring to generative AI. Nevertheless, we should collectively determine the optimal decision considering future factors and convenience.
