In your dyna account, have you selected Auto-reject Afternic listing requests?

This is a hitjob, why single out @Dynadot ?

This is my favorite Registrar, 2023 NP winner.

Cosmotown or Spaceship, however Spaceship is looking to integrate Afternic fast transfer.

In your dyna account, have you selected Auto-reject Afternic listing requests?

Yes, this is an easily implemented solution from Dynadot for their registrants.

When you sign in to your Dynadot account, click on your name in the right hand corner.
Go to "Account settings>aftermarket options." Click on"edit aftermarket settings."
Provide your pin to proceed.
Click " Yes" on the "Auto-reject Afternic listing requests."

If you have any questions about this feature, Dynadot chat support will readily provide help. They are aware of the FT problem, and clearly responsive to their customer concerns.

As for other registrars, exploring options makes sense. I will say that Dynadot has been very supportive with addressing concerns about FT and unauthorized listings on Dan and Afternic. And kudos for their prompt offering of a simple, apparently very effective solution to those rogue Afternic Fast Transfer requests.

I'd be interested in learning what registrars work with Afternic FT vs those that do not.

Afternic promotes to us that distribution via their FT partners gets us significantly more views than if we are in reg-path with non partners.

But this got me thinking, aren't there 3 types of partners?

Type 1: reg path >> name shown via FT partner >> domain fast transferred. Examples, PorkBun, Dynadot, Sav.
Type 2: reg path >> name shown via non FT partner >> domain is still shown to end user, but requires auth code to transfer. Examples?
Type 3: reg path >> Afternic names not shown. Example, Spaceship.

Am I understanding this correctly? If so - who are the registrars that are Type 2? Is there a list of Type 1 and 3 somewhere? If we can gather this list -we can identify market share and see if it really matters to be within Afternics Type 1 registrars. My guess is the bulk of the add'l views they promote really ultimately come from GoDaddy itself who controls ~50% market share.
