Never split tested with and without afternic, an idea lol...

Wow. Is this Godaddy's revenge that HugeDomains domains won't even show an option to hire a broker to contact? It just says it is taken.

I'm no Huge Domains quantity but I'm out too. Been doing my own thing mainly for 25ish years anyway but if the buyer doesn't come direct to my own page they can choose DynaDot, Atom, Sedo, Efty, etc... as anything GoDaddy owned is over for me. I use to love GoDaddy back in the old days but slowly it's gotten to the point where I moved all my domains to DynaDot and I'm done fueling their profits so they can buy more competitors and close them down.

Have you AB tested with and without afternic ?
I mostly sell to end users and afternic is maybe 50-60% of my sales whereas landers 40-50% so not using afternic is probably a big loss but never tested as it's big money to test...

That's actually good news, they own some really good domains, that give us some space to sell more I think.
Maybe they are confident that their brand is so strong they don't need GD? I think they are just testing and will be back soon.

Hello,

I heard and see that hugedomains deleted his listing on afternic.

Do tou know when it happenned ?
To my opinion they lose a lot doing that as their domains dont appears in godaddy search path.
What do you think of ?

I think they did that when Godaddy stopped the Afternic search capability.

Actually makes sense since HugeDomains never takes more than $200 off. No point in offering their broker service for that.

Hi,

In fact this is happening to many of my Afternic listed domains, and I still haven't found out why (I am not huge, neither have I left Afternic).

Because at Afternic you're subjected to constant experiments. And bugs, of course.

Maybe you can make a test in a subset of your portfolio? Although it could lead to less accurate results, you can offset some risk.

Yes will do

If HD had 5 million names on GD, they might have been able to negotiate a lower commission I think..

If they left because of the boost, then just their departure is a boost in visibility if there's 20% less domain names on the marketplace.
