The quality of the services got drastically low the last two years and I am looking to switch to another hosting provider. I know I am gonna receive an automated message under this review saying "eeh.. we are truly sorry for the experience.." which could as well be the same case pumping up positive reviews and stars as this is their business

First time test VPS From Namecheap, it's very bad , limited. when any one order VPS that mean first thing searching for is the support ! the VPS Support s very bad, very slow, not help fix problems, i have used blue*** hosting for ten years with excellent support , now after testing scammers Namecheap VPS i will back to previous hosting company. Horrible customer service and support
I regret switching to Namecheap. Its been one issue after the other and the customer support adviser keeps brushing me off. My website keeps going offline at random for a couple of minutes. In recent days it has gone down 50 times. I have contacted Namecheap multiple times with screenshots as evidence but they keep doing nothing about it. They keep asking me to contact them immediately the website goes down which I do but by the time they respond to me, the website is back online so they say there is nothing they can do to help as the website is back live. This has been horrible for our business and namecheap does not seem to be bothered. Surely its not normal for a website to go down over 50 times within couple of days

Do not give this company money, best advice you will ever get.
A complaint is in progress @ ICANN they will certainly have some troubles as we are more than 100 ppl who has deposited a complaint.

Buyer Beware of Blacklisted IP Addresses
I have been with Namecheap for over a year. I found out the hosting IP was on a blacklist through dnschecker causing me not to be able to subscribe to any marketing tools. When I notified Namecheap they said it was not important and they would NOT start the process to have it removed. Not only is Namecheap's primary IP blacklisted but also the shared IP service they sell to you. They told me to buy another IP but could not guarantee the issue would not persist. Of course, the issue would persist if they refused to have the matter corrected with the lister. Their response was they do not deal with third parties. What a rip off. Companies should not be allowed to operate that sell goods that are blacklisted. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC, as well.

Terrible Experience with Namecheap Hosting
I've had an awful experience with Namecheap's hosting and support services over the past year.
1. Unhelpful Support: Every time I contacted their support, the agents were unhelpful. For example, when I had trouble downloading my database, instead of simply informing me that the temporary memory was full, the agent just said they didn’t know what the issue was.
2. Unreliable Dedicated Hosting: I would never recommend their dedicated hosting. They assigned me a server IP that had been previously used and was riddled with viruses. I’ve tried 3 or 4 different servers, and the issue persisted.
3. Issues with Shared Hosting Emails: Their shared hosting has major problems with cPanel emails. Even normal emails were getting rejected, and the support agent blamed it on an unremovable spam filter system. Strangely, when I sent the same email from another Namecheap server, it went through without any issues.
Overall, Namecheap’s services have been frustrating and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for dependable hosting.
