My first 4Figure sale ever but domain can't transfer

Hello everyone, I want to ask you why i need to wait for 60 days to get auth code to transfer the domain to buyer?

I sold my domain mid 4Figure but afternic said we need auth code, so i try to get auth code but my registrar saying it's can't transfer out because it's lock for 60 days and i ask him why it's my domain, anyone know about this domain transfer lock, i already informed afternic and they said we will wait next 40 days for transfer the domain.

after this email, i'm very angry on my registrar. I feel they don't to transfer the domain to other registrar.
