Media Options serviced Elon Musk’s America PAC

According to Wikipedia, The America PAC is a political action committee created by Elon Musk with the backing of a number of prominent tech businessmen to support Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The group’s primary purpose is to finance canvassing operations.

During its first three months through September 2024, Elon Musk was the PAC’s sole donor, totaling about $75 million, increasing to more than $118 million in October 2024.

It seems that some money went to acquiring domain names.

Domain broker and founder of Media Options, Andrew Rosener, shared news that his company helped Elon Musk’s PAC with the acquisition of the domains AmericaPAC.com and AmericaPAC.org. Registered in 2010, these domains were last updated at the end of October 2024.

The PAC operates from TheAmericaPAC.org currently so the domain upgrade drops the “The” prefix while adding the .com along with the matching .org.

The America PAC gained controversy due to its giveaways of multiple $1 million dollar gifts to registered voters. A class action lawsuit alleges that the winners were not chosen randomly, as the PAC claimed.
