Hi guys. I often find myself conflicted on capitalizing the letter I in a domain name when it’s the first letter. How do you deal with I’s? And is this as big of a deal to you as it is to me?
I really wish they didn’t look so much like lower case l’s, and so I often replace them with ‘i’, which I’m not crazy about. Thanks!
Thank you very much for bringing this into my attention, I have somehow neglected the importance of it. Maybe this is what is happening with one of my "brandable" names, which I always submit to contests with the initial "i" capitalized; I bet many contest holders are confused when they see it.

Try using fonts that have arms, eg "I" if you have control over the font family type. Agree it is a nuance in domain titling. You can also use all pascal or lowercase for the name to eliminate confusion, if also within your control.

The best presentation on an end-user's website is highly dependent on the exact domain. For example, Apple presents their flagship product as iPhone, but in other cases an uppercase I is better as an initial letter.
When it comes to the presentation of your domains as a domain seller, you have to look at it on a case-by-case basis, too. With which presentation will it have the greatest impact? But keep in mind that on many websites, including those of registrar partners, the domain is simply displayed all in lowercase and there is little you can do to change that presentation.

I'd present all in UPPER case or all in lower case or even both, one above the other to make it obvious (think Epik used to do this).
Present them as browser presents, no matter if you present with big (I) the browser will always show it as (i) small, easy as that.

I would never capitalize ''i'' unless you want to capitalize the whole name (and then the word is very clear).
I remember back in the time when I almost bought ''ltaka'' instead of ''itaka''...
