Is there a need to replace Godaddy's discontinued 7-Day Member Auctions?

I never used their 7 day auctions either as a seller or a buyer. The main issue with their and other auction platforms is the API. Personally I'd rather there was no way to automate bidding etc and go back old school.

Also I'd love for there to be more live auctions. I remember there being some live auctions here in the old chat box. A live auction service with manual bidding would be exciting.
