I returned to domaining after a four year break.
Their expiring auctions used to be pretty good. Now I don't see much of interest.
The things I do shortlist I almost always get a "this auction has finished, the domain has been transferred away", which implies that they are basically losing customers on the regular.
Compared to Dynadot which appears to be absolutely thriving with loads of decent stuff in the expiring marketplace.
Is NameSilo just coasting by, making a bit of revenue from those too lazy to transfer out domains, it appears to have nothing really going for it anymore.
Yet I see the share price has almost doubled in the past year... from $0.17 to $0.32.
To be fair I only look for dot coms, so no idea if it does well out of .ca domains or something, maybe it is the Canadian registrar of choice and is propped up by .ca domains?
