Here’s what sold on NameJet and SnapNames last month

No big sales during a slow month.

Newfold Digital’s expired domain marketplaces NameJet and SnapNames had a slow month in May.

The company reported just 43 domains that sold for $2,000 or more, totaling $171,000. The top sale was cranio.com at $12,2111.

Here are some domain names that caught my attention:

Ytmp3 .cc $10,017 – This price has nothing to do with the domain and everything to do with how it was previously used. A site on the domain offered a way to convert YouTube videos to MP3 and MP4 files and download them.

Slaw.com $7,750 – A pretty good dropped domain pickup here. Could be a fun brand with a food connotation.

DigitalStrategies.com $4.099 – A bit generic but solid name for a digital marketing company.

Marketology.com $3,488 – Clever name for a marketing business.

Dogbowl.com $3,605 – Back in the day, people would buy this domain as an exact match product name. Now it would be used as a brand, but likely still around pet products.

TankCleaning.com $2,500 – This is one of the better buys on the list. Industrial tank cleaning is a high-dollar business, including fuel tanks, water tanks, etc.
