I was interested in registering 1v1.gg but decided not to because registration fee was out of my budget and now someone claimed it.
What do you think, was it worth the registration fee?

Tough to say. It’s speculation but I’d say $25 is a decent bet on that.
NamePull.com sold Scout.gg for $4,500 earlier this year. Pretty nice site that has been built on it.
Win.gg recently sold and has been built out as well.

It was like $50 (I thought it was better to invest that money into few .coms than .gg ccTLD).
EDIT: As far as I can see only GoDaddy offers $24.99 .gg registrations and I would rather die than use them...

Win.gg recently sold and has been built out as well.
Missed seeing this earlier. Win must be one of the better words for the .gg extension, and the $5k was a nice price although I could have seen it going for even more. In the NameBio database it is the second highest exact sale (.tech went for $10k) although .me at $4350 and .global at $3k are not far behind.
