DOGE: Upcoming .GOV auction to be featured on GoDaddy

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), under the fearless leadership of Elon Musk, announced a historic liquidation of federal government domains to the highest bidder.

In keeping with DOGE’s mission of trimming the federal fat, the .gov domain auction is expected to be the biggest domain sale since the Alaska purchase from Russia in 1867.

To be held on the GoDaddy.gov platform, the auction will involve prime digital real estate such as IRS.gov, NASA.gov, FBI.gov, and even WhiteHouse.gov will be up for grabs.

“If we’re going to cut government spending we can surely begin with the digital dead weight” said Elon Musk in a late night rant.

“No one even goes to these sites anymore. You know where people get their news? From X. This is anti-woke, efficient capitalism, folks!” exclaimed Musk.

The .gov domain auction has already seen interest from an eclectic mix of bidders; domain investors, crypto billionaires and even conspiracy theorists are lining up for the opportunity to own a piece of former federal cyberspace of .gov domains.

Jeff Bezos is rumored to be interested in USPS.gov to streamline Amazon’s drone fleet.

To bid on .gov domains you need to be a registered Republican and own at least one MAGA hat.
