It has been a little more than three months since Squadhelp rebranded itself as Atom.com. As with any rebrand and domain name changes, there can be some temporary or lasting issues as a business attempts to keep its search engine rankings and informs users and prospects of the new brand name.
Atom.com Founder Darpan Munjal posted an update today to share how the rebrand has gone for the business naming platform that specializes in the sale of domain names. The first post in the thread can be seen here:
It’s been three months since we rebranded to https://t.co/qnMkhaXB0b, and it’s time to reflect on our journey so far 🧵👇

In total, I have sold 1 domain name on Atom.com, have a second domain name on the 12th month of a 12 month LTO, and had one domain name on LTO for one month before it canceled. I have not sold a domain name via Atom since the rebrand, but I have a very small portfolio of less than 125 domain names.
Like I was originally, I still am torn about adding more domain names because the sales commission is quite high. On the flip side, the platform seems to be spending considerable amounts of money to bring customers to buy domain names listed on the platform. Darpan wrote about the company’s marketing campaigns in his X thread.
It’s good to see that Atom hasn’t seemed to miss a beat since rebranding. In fact, James Booth reported a $1 million sale on Atom yesterday.
