Catch a .com without drawing attention

Hi, there's a .com about to drop in a few days. A decade ago, I would have gone to Snap/NJ and there was a pretty good chance I'd catch it for a small fee. It seems now there are a lot of new drop catchers, where if you bid too early, it draws attention to the name and then ends up in a public auction - something I want to avoid.
What's the best to to try and guarantee success of catching a .com but without drawing much attention that I'm bidding/interested in a certain name? Thanks.
