Take a look at top keywords, and the impact of offering payment plans on sale prices.
It’s been a few months since I’ve reported on Afternic’s keyword data, so now is a good time to check in as we conclude the year.
Afternic has published the keywords found most often in domains sold in October. Here’s the list:
- my
- ai
- home
- it
- group
- services
- pro
- life
- health
- bet
- law
- real
- new
- estate
- your
- solutions
- auto
- capital
- us
That’s only 19, so let’s give a bonus word: the. In fact, the is more than 2x more common in sold domains than my, but Afternic puts it on an “unfiltered” list that includes single letters.
GoDaddy also released data about the impact of offering payment plans on domains. The company said that domains offering payment plans have an average 35% higher selling price than those only offering one-time buy now prices. That includes service fees that buyers pay on plans over 12 months.
I’ve sold seven domains this month, including six through Afternic…and three of those are on payment plans.
