They are owned by NameCheap. Spaceship is still in beta AFAIK, so expect some glitches, bad documentation, and on the positive side slightly lower prices for hosting, etc. It's definitely worth it to keep an eye out for their upcoming promos

@SELMimo You need to finish creating an account first. As soon as the account is setup, you can use the code successfully.
@CraigAK - That’s so odd; worked for me last night on my iPhone. It was glitchy though after submitting a PayPal payment and required me to copy and past the URI string in manually to finish paying.

Possibly. I had an error the first time I tried 4 days ago. Then it worked 2 days ago.
Does it say promo expired or do you get an error?

Now it should work again.
Spaceship and Cosmotown compete for the lowest price (one domain per customer). They both lowered their prices. Right now:
Spaceship $2.98, code: COM67
Cosmotown $3.01, code: COM23

There was no error, the code applied but didn't give a discount.
Now it worked. An hour ago regged 1 .com for $2.98.
Ditto. Hand regged a .com just now at $2.98 with the Promo Code.
Site is nice although a bit flashy for my taste...<shrug>...I'm more of a function over form person. But we'll see how it goes.
Have had varying numbers of domains at NameCheap since probably around 2002-2003, only reason I trust such a new site with my info. I'm sure it will be fine.

Spaceship recently added more promo codes to 200+ domain extensions. The promo is valid for domain registration and transfer, and is also limited to one domain per customer.
I was contacted by a Namecheap employee and provided their google spreadsheet with these promos.The employee asked not to share the link to this spreadsheet. Therefore, I give several links to my site (promo codes are updated every hour):

There are different codes for registration and transfer
Namecheap and Spaceship both have a glitch when reg just dropped domains that are free to reg, they show "taken".

Yesterday tried this code, it worked, but I didn't reg the domain. Now it doesn't work. It shows

This is a bug not on my side. There is a discount on the screenshot of their spreadsheet.
I remember the .COM promo was the same, but they fixed it later. If they do not cope in one, two days, I will write to their staff.
